A man boldly turned down his sister’s request after being asked to bring his partner to their family house for the Ileya festival.

Speaking in Yoruba, he exclaimed that his partner would not be visiting their house during the Ileya festival. Considering the catering activities involved, their family members would want her to cook and wash animal intestines.

He emphasized that times have changed, and any family member who intends to celebrate an event should hire a catering service because his partner is not an errand girl for anyone.

He advised that his sister @faathiatul__khair__ , was an educated woman and shouldn’t let any man deceive her into becoming his family’s servant, all in the name of being friendly and responsible to his family.

Her brother asserted that the majority turned out to be eye service which only ends up making the woman resent her husband’s family.

Many internet users have shared their experiences about how their husbands refused to allow them to take on menial tasks within their family homes.

Several claim that if the man weren’t wealthy, his partner would be compelled to help with catering during the Ileya festival.
