Reggie Zippy's ex-wife, Edith Ward Reggie Zippy’s ex-wife, Edith Ward

Edith Ward, the ex-wife of Reggie Zippy, has reflected on her personal growth over the course of 2024, describing it as the year she truly rediscovered herself.

After enduring a challenging period, she expressed that she was finally able to speak her truth and was heard.

In a heartfelt message on social media, Edith thanked the people who made her year special, including media personality Caleb Nii Boye, who provided her with the platform to share her story.

“Grateful for an amazing 2024 and for everyone who made my days so special. I will forever hold 2024 in my heart as the year I truly rediscovered myself. After a challenging period, I finally spoke my truth and was heard. (@calebniiboye THANK YOU for that) Here’s to a beautiful 2025 for me, my family, friends, and you all,” she posted.

Edith had faced intense backlash on social media following the announcement of her divorce from Reggie Zippy.

The mother of three felt misunderstood until she had a revealing interview with Caleb Nii Boye, during which she was able to clarify her side of the story.

One key point Edith addressed during that interview was the numerous accusations from her ex-husband that she had prevented him from seeing their children.

She clarified that, contrary to Reggie Zippy’s claims, he had never made any attempts to visit them.

According to her, speaking out has further helped improve her relationship with Reggie, especially when it comes to co-parenting and clearing misconceptions.

Some netizens are also of the view that the aftermath of her interview has played a significant role in resolving their differences.

Reggie Zippy and Edith Ward’s recent reunions

Recently, the former couple came together to celebrate their daughter’s 10th birthday, a moment captured in posts shared by Reggie Zippy on social media.

The posts sent a message to the public that the two had started co-parenting amicably after years of conflict and distance.

In another gesture that drew attention, Reggie Zippy visited Edith Ward’s home during the Christmas period.

He disclosed on social media that he visited on Boxing Day to celebrate with the family.

He shared a playful photo of him and Edith goofing around and this has sparked mixed reactions online.

    Reasons for divorce

During their split, which was witnessed on social media, Edith Ward revealed that she filed for divorce due to issues such as infidelity, lies, alcohol abuse, and financial neglect.

She accused Reggie Zippy of being involved in an extramarital affair with a white woman for two to three years and stated that his failure to provide financially forced her to work tirelessly to support the family.

“I walked away and filed for divorce after you betrayed our marriage. Lies, deceit, constant cheating, and financial abuse made me work day and night to save my family. My love and patience weren’t enough, so I decided to save myself and my children,” parts of her Instagram post read in September 2023.
