Nicole Chikwe, wife of Naeto C has opened up about the criticism she faced after going public with her relationship with the rapper.

Speaking during a podcast session with Afropolitan, she disclosed that people told her she was not good enough for Naeto C.

As a woman married to a public figure, Nicole found herself battling not only with the pressures of marriage but also with the weight of public perception.

She spoke about the toll it took on her self-esteem, confessing that the negativity made her question her worth and place in their relationship.

“I was compared to all sort of animals, ‘she looks like a horse, she doesn’t even have body, even her light skin is not even like a nice light skin’ it was crazy. It really crippled this confidence I always had growing up, it made me super insecure. We eventually did get married, and it felt like a little bit of validation, like I still won in the end, like in regardless he still married me, but unfortunately, I did take all of this into a marriage, and that’s how I started off the marriage feeling like I was less than feeling like he was better than me and I was unworthy of this relationship.” She said

Her revelation has sparked various reactions among internet users. While some recalled the harsh trolling she faced during that time, others praised her beauty and pointed out how the trolls were merely lying to make themselves feel better.
