Amidst the tensions surrounding Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, the former has hinted at returning home after reportedly leaving her marital residence over alleged domestic abuse.
In a video shared on social media, the actress appeared distressed as she spoke about the series of troubling events that had unfolded since she left.
She expressed exhaustion over the constant drama surrounding her family, especially the arrest of her siblings, which she believes is connected to her strained relationship with Ned Nwoko.
Regina Daniels’ mother, others break down in court
“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody. Every time I wake up, I say one thing, Oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said tearfully.
It is reported that Senator Nwoko allegedly ordered the arrest of Regina’s siblings: her elder brother and sister, amid their marital dispute.
The arrests reportedly took place days after Regina allegedly filed for divorce, citing domestic abuse.
In response to the divorce claims, the Delta North senator denied the allegations and instead accused the actress of drug abuse.
Regina Daniels took to her Instagram page on November 3, 2025, to make a public plea for help, stating that her siblings’ detention was part of efforts by her husband to compel her to return home.
“I never thought I would do this, but my big brother and big sister have been arrested. My baby sister might be arrested as well until I return and, according to him, return to rehab. Don’t even get me started on telling the world what you did to me with your stupid rehab talk,” she wrote.
