Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo is in high spirits following a stellar first half of the 2024/25 season, having scored five goals and provided two assists for his team.

Semenyo’s strong performances have played a key role in Bournemouth’s bid for a European spot, with the Cherries firmly positioned in the race for European qualification.

The Ghana international feels this is the best he has felt physically and mentally since joining the Premier League club.

“I feel like feeling 100% is one of the things I’ve been hoping for the past couple of years,” he told Stadium Astro.

“There haven’t been any major problems, so that’s a good thing.”

Semenyo credits much of his progress to the guidance and support of his manager and teammates. “I feel like I’m developing my game a lot more, and that comes down to the manager.

He seems to be able to maximize my abilities and attributes, and it’s really nice to have the manager, his assistants, and my teammates pushing me to be the best that I can be.”

Looking back on his performance, he said, “So, it has been a good start, and the only way is up.”

This season, Semenyo has scored against defending champions Manchester City and Manchester United, helping Bournemouth rise to 7th place in the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, watch as Alfred Oko Vanderpuije describes Akufo-Addo’s government as a failed one, below:
