A lady confidently stepped out to work in her Aso-Ebi skirt, refusing to let the stylish fabric go to waste after spending money on buying and sewing it.

In a video shared online, the lady @auntyluu  captured herself taking a mirror selfie at work, dressed in the elegant Aso-Ebi skirt paired smartly with a pink shirt that matched the fabric’s colour scheme.

According to her, the skirt had been sitting untouched in her wardrobe for a whole year after the event she wore it to.

“Is it me that will buy Asoebi, pay for sewing, and only wear it once? Never again! That’s why I always go for versatile styles I must get my money’s worth.”

She mentioned in the caption that she deliberately opts for versatile styles when sewing Aso-Ebi so she can mix and match the pieces for other occasions. This way, she always gets her money’s worth.

Her video has garnered attention from netizens, with many recommending suitable outfits to pair with the Aso-Ebi skirt.

Others confirmed that ladies’ preference for extravagant styles prevents them from rewearing their Aso-Ebi outfits.

    Below are some comments,
