Sista Afia has denied inviting Tracy Shay to perform at her Koforidua concert
Following days of intense social media discussions linked to Wendy Shay’s protégé, Tracy Shay’s performance at her 10th anniversary celebration in the music industry, singer Sista Afia has addressed the matter.
In a post shared on X on January 7, 2026, Sista Afia dismissed a series of allegations directed at her, clarifying that she had not personally invited the young artiste to perform on stage.
According to the award-winning musician, she had no prior knowledge of Tracy Shay’s performance and did not invite the young talent to appear at her 10th anniversary concert in Koforidua.

“My attention has been drawn to several social media stories, videos, and write-ups suggesting that I personally invited the young lady, Tracy Shay, onto the stage during my concert.
“I wish to clearly state that I have no knowledge of how or when she got onto the stage, and I did not personally invite her to do so,” she said.
Sista Afia further noted that her current focus remains on celebrating the success of her concert, which marked a significant milestone in her career after years of consistency in the music industry.

“At this moment, my main focus is on the overall success of my 10th anniversary celebration in the music industry, which represents an important milestone in my career.
“I am currently holding a series of meetings with my management and team to review all aspects of the event. A detailed response on this matter will be issued at the appropriate time,” she added.
