Ghanaian preacher Isaac Kwaku Antwi, popularly known as Rev Obofour, has addressed rumours circulating on social media that he killed his eldest children and his first wife, identified as Rita.
In a video shared on February 9, 2026, Rev Obofour dismissed the claims, describing them as false and malicious.
While preaching to his congregation, Rev Obofour brought out his two children, a boy and a girl, and presented them as proof that the allegations were untrue.

He also addressed rumours surrounding the collapse of his marriage with Rita, stating that the union ended due to false claims spread by some junior pastors in his church to his former mother-in-law.
“Some pastors in my church spread false rumours about my mother-in-law. They went to tell her that I was using black magic in my church and that I would kill her daughter for rituals.
“Because the woman also believed in prophecies, she believed them, and that was the reason my marriage with my first wife ended. The only person who is dead is my mother-in-law and not my ex-wife.
“After the allegations, my mother-in-law brought my drinks and ring to me, and afterwards, she shut her doors to me. I only got the chance to see my daughter again after seventeen years,” he said.

Rev Obofour further disclosed that following the divorce, Rita is still alive, contrary to speculations on social media.
“Rita is alive. I am only addressing this issue because it is just too much. Social media users are overdoing it. I have not buried any of my children,” he added.
