    Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa clears the air about her rumoured wedding on her 40th birthday Thanksgiving ceremony.

    Recall that numerous reports claimed that Toke Makinwa tied the knot secretly after photos from her 40th birthday Thanksgiving ceremony went viral.

    The 40-year-old actress refuted rumors that she got married on October 20 by posting on Twitter (X). She expresses gratitude to her friends who hope to see her as a wife again.

    She said that the purpose of the Thanksgiving service was to give thanks to God on her 40th birthday.

    In her tweet,

    “I did not get married yesterday, I deeply appreciate all your love and prayers, I see how you all desire for me to settle down and God who is the author of time will do it when he thinks it is right. Yesterday was to honor God. Una don make my parents receive plenty calls but I know it’s all love, all their friends have called tayaaaaaa, I am very much still singuuuuuuuuuu”

    Toke further mentioned that because of the rumors that she secretly got married, her parents have been contacted by several of their acquaintances.

    Following the rumored marriage, the actress’s admirers expressed their joy, with many looking forward to the actual wedding day.
