Ghanaian dancehall musician Epixode has indicated that he designed the logo of his colleague musician, Shatta Wale.

In an interview on Entertainment Guide on November 12, 2024, the ‘Wahala Dey’ hitmaker noted that Shatta Wale has refused to acknowledge him for his craft.

“It is one of the things I can boldly say has contributed to the SM brand. It’s like wearing a Nike shoe without the logo. I am only happy he believed in it and has carried it over the years. It’s just sad that he doesn’t want to give me credit for my work but the fact that I see people wearing it on their skin I am cool with it,” he said.

When asked if he has any unsettled issues with Shatta Wale, Epixode indicated that he has no dispute with the ‘Dancehall King’ hitmaker.

“Oh! he is like a colleague, father, and a senior brother. I am in my corner and I don’t have any issue with him. And I have no beef with him. I love the space I am in and it’s okay for me,” he added.

Epixode is a one-time winner of the Telecel Ghana Music Award. The musician won the 2023 Best Reggae and Dancehall Song of the Year with the popular ‘Atia’ song.
