Kuami Eugene has recalled a situation where he drove to tease his ex after buying his first car Kuami Eugene has recalled a situation where he drove to tease his ex after buying his first car

Ghanaian singer Eugene Kwame Marfo, popularly known as Kuami Eugene, has shared a humorous and dramatic memory about what he did after purchasing his first car.

In an interview with Joy Prime, as shared on X on July 17, 2025, Kuami Eugene revealed that he deliberately drove to his ex-girlfriend’s residence to flaunt his new car, even though she wasn’t home at the time.

“The funny thing is, after purchasing my first car, the first place I drove to was to inform my mom in Fadama, because I had moved out after Lynx Entertainment signed me. I went home and showed her the car, and she was excited,” he said.

He continued, “After that, I told my mom to wait for me. Her (my ex’s) mom had a salon at Darkuman, so I drove straight there just to blow the horn and cause a little commotion. She wasn’t around, but I met her mom.”

Reflecting on the experience, Kuami Eugene encouraged people in relationships to show patience and trust in their partners, especially when they are hardworking and show potential.

“I’ve always remembered that moment, even though we had both moved on. Sometimes people should just give their partners time, because they can surprise you with how far they’ll go,” he added.
