Founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Kumchacha, has disclosed that he once had a competition with the late flagbearer of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor, about who would win the upcoming December 7 election.

Speaking in an interview on Kofi TV on November 3, 2024, the popular controversial pastor noted that he promised Akua Donkor that if she becomes the next president in the upcoming December 7 elections, he would set his church ablaze and also gift her an amount of GH¢5 billion.

“I met Akua Donkor on Atinka FM, and she told me she would become the next president of Ghana in the upcoming elections. I then told her that I would be president before her, and she wouldn’t garner even 20,000 votes. She then asked me, ‘What would you do if I become president?'”

“I then told her I would burn my church and also give her GH¢5 billion. So Akua Donkor is an interesting person to be with,” he said.

Kumchacha further shared his profound moments with the late Akua Donkor.

“Anytime I go on a political show, Maame Akua Donkor would call me because she can’t type. So immediately I see her calls, I will know the reason why she is calling me. It’s either I mention her name on air or bring up a conversation about her on air. We had a good friendship,” he added.

    Background

Akua Donkor’s sudden demise occurred on Monday, October 28, 2024, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

She was said to have died after a brief illness.
