Young winger Philip Amoh is counting on his qualities to succeed at his new club, Asante Kotoko.
The attacker signed for the Porcupine Warriors club on Wednesday, July 16, in a move from lower division side New Edubiase United.
“Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of winger Philip Amoh on a three-year deal, following the successful completion of his medical,” Asante Kotoko announced.
Speaking in his maiden interview, Philip Amoh said he is keen on using his abilities to help the Ghanaian giants.
“I have earned this move. I know what I bring on the pitch, and I believe I’m ready for this level. This is a big club, and the platform here is massive, but I’m not here just to be part of the squad. I’m here to make an impact. I believe in my ability and I’m coming in to deliver,” Amoh said as quoted on the Asante Kotoko website.
Philip Amoh, 23, previously played for Pacific Heroes before his switch to New Edubiase.
During his stints with both clubs, the winger made over 80 appearances in the Division One League, emerging as one of the standout performers in the competition.
He recorded 6 goals and 11 assists in the 2024/25 football campaign.
