Founder and leader of the Heaven Way Church, Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa, has addressed the controversy surrounding a viral video in which the Acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, handed some undisclosed dollar bills to her.
In a video shared on X on May 11, 2025, Agradaa clarified that she personally requested the money from Sammy Gyamfi, dismissing several speculation on social media.
“The truth is, I told him my problem and asked him to give me something for fuel. I’m the one who asked for the money. If I meet a minister or MP, I’ll ask for dollars, simple,” she stated.
Agradaa further explained that she knelt before Sammy Gyamfi and even asked him to apologize to former President John Dramani Mahama on her behalf.
She also alleged that a blogger present during the encounter recorded a video but refused to post it in full context.
According to Agradaa, Sammy Gyamfi also offered her advice, urging her to stay away from social media confrontations and political commentary.
“Sammy Gyamfi advised me not to insult Owusu-Bempah anymore and to stay out of politics because I have my own platform and should focus on my work. He told me if I ever had legitimate information about allegations against the NDC, I should go through the right channels,” she added.
She also stated that her husband was also present during the meeting and even pleaded with Sammy Gyamfi on her behalf.
