Ghanaian musician, Kwabena Kwabena has recently reflected on a challenging period in his life, drawing parallels with the struggles of fellow entertainer, Funny Face.

In an interview with Ghana News TV, Kwabena revealed that his own experience with divorce brought him to the brink, similar to Funny Face’s highly publicized difficulties.

He admitted, “It was very difficult when I ended my marriage. I can say I was not far from what happened to my brother, Funny Face.”

The artist shared that the emotional pain he endured after calling for a divorce was immense, hence he deeply empathize with Funny Face’s struggles.

He noted that he often finds himself in tears when he sees Funny Face, saying, “I cry because it could have been me. So let us keep our brother in our prayers.”

Kwabena also discussed his new song, “Fakye Me,” which he wrote during his darkest days and features gospel singer Obaapa Christy.
