Ghanaian rapper and songwriter, Bashir Annan, popularly known as Gambo, has taken to social media to congratulate himself after performing at the just-ended ‘Kia Forum’ in Los Angeles in the USA.

In a post shared on X on July 22, 2025, Gambo expressed his gratitude, while claiming that he is the first Ghanaian musician to have performed at the venue, which hosts about 17,000 people.

“Still can’t believe I performed in front of 17,000 people at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, USA, being the first Ghanaian artiste,” he said.

Gambo in his post also applauded Nigerian singer, Davido, for allowing him to perform at his 5ive tour in the United States of America.

“Help me thank @davido for this opportunity #5iveAliveTour,” he added.

Gambo’s performance has caused a massive reaction on social media as netizens are giving him his “flowers” for his incredible stagecraft.

While some netizens are applauding Gambo for his energetic performance, others have also applauded Davido for giving him a chance to perform on his album tour in the USA.

An X user with the account name @EAlayeluwa noted, “@davido GOD bless you abundantly.

@gambo is really appreciative of you for the opportunity given to him at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, USA, as the first Ghanaian artiste.”

Another user noted, “That’s huge, boss! I watched your performance and all I said was wow… I know with time you will get there, Thanks to @davido… God bless you, baba.”
