Real Oviedo midfielder Kwasi Sibo

Midfielder Kwasi Sibo has expressed his readiness to play for Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars.

The 27-year-old was influential in Real Oviedo’s qualification to the Spanish La Liga after over two decades.

Sibo made 38 appearances for the side, scoring once and assisting once.

Despite his impressive outings, the midfielder is yet to make an appearance for the four-time African champions.

Following his excellent performance, Sibo insists he is well prepared to honour a call-up for the Black Stars.

“I am ready to play for the Black Stars,” he told Asempa FM.

“I played competitively last season, and I played a key role in our qualification to the La Liga next season.

“I am competing with some best players at Real Oviedo, and if you look at my performance last season, I am ready to play for the Black Stars,” he added.
