Ghanaian gospel musician Selina Boateng has publicly confirmed that she is no longer married to her husband, Isaac Berchie.

Selina Boateng made the announcement during an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM’s drive-time show, where she openly yes to a question asked by the host if she had indeed divorced her husband after six years of marriage.

She explained that she is not ashamed of her current status and, thankfully, has not experienced any form of stigma since the split.

While she chose not to disclose the exact cause of the divorce, Selina Boateng used the platform to advise young people who are preparing for marriage.

She urged them to take the time to thoroughly study their partners before tying the knot and warned against allowing external influences to dictate their choice of a life partner, stressing that that era is over.

The two tied the knot on December 7, 2019, in a beautiful ceremony at the Church of Pentecost Magazine Maakro Central, Kumasi, which was attended by family, friends, and a lot of colleagues in the gospel music fraternity.
