It’s that time of the year again when the world’s most rich and famous arrive via private jet, helicopter and gigantic superyacht to celebrate New Year’s Eve in St Barths.
US tech billionaire Jeff Bezos, his wife, Lauren Sanchez, and Chloe Green, the daughter of retail tycoon Sir Philip Green, are just some of the celebrities who have already been spotted at the luxury Caribbean island.
The climax of festivities is no doubt the midnight fireworks display that illuminates the sky above Fort Oscar, overlooking the Gustavia Harbor.
When the clock strikes 12, it’s tradition for the hundreds of megayachts to sound their foghorns in unison, creating a choir of jubilation across the glittering water.
Bezos and Sanchez were already seen kicking off the party at celebrity hotspot Nikki Beach, dancing among sparkler-waving, bikini-clad women – including one riding a motorbike – in a beachside restaurant.
The couple’s $500 million yacht, Koru – which has a wooden sculpture made in Sanchez’ likeness fitted on the prow – has been spotted gliding around in the warm, turquoise waters.
Onshore, the 9.7 square mile volcanic island transforms into a hub of exclusive parties this time of year, with A-listers having a plethora of bashes to choose from.
According to St Barths insiders, some of the best choices for the end of 2025 include Gyp Sea, where DJ Calvin Harris will headline, Hotel Le Toiny, where Blond:ish will be playing, and Nikki Beach with DJ Diplo.

Green, 34, was photographed in a pink and white Versace co-ord while out on a date with her husband Manuele Thiella.

Some of the celebrities partaking in the festivities have spent the run up to New Year’s Eve cruising around Gustavia, St Maarten, Antigua and the surrounding islands, soaking up the sun before wrapping up the holiday season in St Barths.
While many of the A-listers are seasoned professionals at navigating the island’s party scene, luxury travel advisors are available at a moment’s notice to help wealthy tourists navigate St Barths’ social circuit.
‘For nightlife, knowing where to sit matters as much as where you go,’ Henley Vazquez, Co-Founder of Fora Travel, told Forbes.
‘At Bagatelle, inside/outside seating makes all the difference, and you want to be inside. Le Café next door is equally fun, and Sella (in the former Maya’s space) starts as a great dinner and quietly turns into a party later in the evening. Book a late res!’
