A lady shared a funny video showing the dramatic shift in her mother’s reaction from her brother wearing stud earrings to hailing his appearance for an event.

In a video shared online, their mum scolded her brother harshly, demanding that he remove the earrings and expressing disapproval over his fashion choice.

The young boy was left with no choice but to remove the earrings, even though he was displeased.

However, moments later, the same mother began calling out to him, admiring how good he looked despite her earlier disapproval.

The quick turnaround left the siblings stunned, and the young boy was surprised at his mother’s sudden change.

The video has amused netizens, with many noting that the mother’s reaction exemplifies how a typical African parent corrects a child.
