President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, and other officials from the FA attended the funeral of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.

The GFA delegation also included Vice president Mark Addo, Chief of Staff Michael Osekre, and Executive Council Member Frederick Acheampong.

All the dignitaries shook hands with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to pay their respects and offer condolences during this difficult period.

President Okraku had a brief conversation with the Asantehene before proceeding with a handshake, paving the way for the other officials.

It was reported that Okraku presented GH¢50,000 bottles of schnapps and assorted drinks to support the ceremony, which has drawn dignitaries, traditional leaders, and well-wishers from across the country.

The kind gesture demonstrates the GFA’s respect for the Ashanti Kingdom and its cultural heritage.
