An online chef has sparked discussions by showcasing her unique method of making edible popcorn.
The chef @foodgarsm shares how she prefers popcorn to the widely used way of cooking corn in groundnut oil and sugar.
She made the snack by adding a small amount of corn, sugar to taste, and crayfish for flavor to a small dish of palm oil heated in a pan.
After cooking, the crayfish became black and looked charred, while the popcorn was edible but looked yellowish and greasy from the palm oil.
TikTok users flooded the comment section with suggestions for different substances to be put on the popcorn for a future clip as the video sparked laughter.
