Various celebrities and high-profile individuals have been reacting to news of the tragic deaths of some individuals at the military recruitment exercise in Accra.

According to a statement released by the Ghana Armed Forces, the incident occurred in the early hours of November 12, 2025, at the El Wak Sports Stadium when applicants rushed for the gates at the start of the recruitment.

The rush led to a stampede leading to 28 casualties, with 6 dead, 12 in critical condition, and 5 injured.

On various social media platforms, Ghanaian celebrities, including Serwaa Amihere, Efya, Rev Erskine and many others, have reacted to the news. Many expressed their shock over the incident, while others called for a different approach to the recruitment process.
