    Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers later this week, GHANAsoccernet.com brings you a report on the performance of players invited for the crucial World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.

    Goalkeepers:

    Lawrence Ati-Zigi helped St.Gallen to a 2-1 win over Lausanne in the Swiss Super League round five fixture on Sunday.

    Benjamin Asare was in pole for Hearts of Oak against Asante Kotoko in the GHALCA top four tournament, which his side won by 2-0.

    Gideon Mensah saw 84 minutes of action for Auxerre in their 1-0 defeat to Nantes.

    Derrick Arthur saw 21 minutes of action for Union Berlin in their 3-0 loss to Dortmund.

    Mohammed Salisu was an unused substitute for Monaco in their 3-2 loss to Strasbourg

    Jerome Opoku played 90 minutes for Basaksehir against Eyuspor, which ended in a draw.

    Alexander Djiku was on the bench for Fenerbahce in their 3-1 win over Genclerbirligi.

    Jonas Adjetey was an unused substitute for Basel against Sion over the weekend.

    Tariq Lamptey did not make the matchday squad for Brighton against Manchester City on Sunday in the Premier League.

    Caleb Yirenkyi scored for Nordsjaelland in their 2-1 win over Odense in the Danish Super League.

    Midfielders:

    Elisha Owusu saw 88 minutes of action for Auxerre in their 1-0 loss to Nantes.

    Mohammed Kudus was in action for Tottenham in their 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth.

    Ibrahim Osman was involved in Auxerre’s 1-0 defeat to Nantes.

    Kamaldeen Sulemana played 26 minutes for Atlanta in their 1-1 draw against Parma.

    Thomas Partey saw 22 minutes of action for Villareal in their 1-1 draw against Celta Vigo.

    Salis Abdul Samed saw 60 minutes for OGC Nice in their 3-1 defeat to Le Havre.

    Forwards:

    Antoine Semenyo helped Bournemouth to secure a 1-0 away win against Tottenham. The Ghana international played 90 minutes in the game.

    Kamaldeen Sulemana played 26 minutes for Atlanta in their 1-1 draw against Parma.

    Joseph Paintsil scored for LA Galaxy in their 2-1 win over Orlando City in the MLS.

    Jerry Afriyie played 90 minutes for RAA La Louvierre in their 3-2 win over KV Mechelen

    Jordan Ayew played 90 minutes for Leicester City in their 2-0 win over Birmingham.

    Christopher Bonsu Baah was not in the squad for Al Qadisiya against Al Najma

    Inaki Williams saw 75 minutes of action for Athletic Bilbao in their 2-1 win over Betis.
