    • Recall listed on Friday over buns sold in SA

By ELIZA MCPHEE FOR DAILY MAIL AUSTRALIA

    Published: 23:27 EST, 14 February 2025 | Updated: 23:27 EST, 14 February 2025

Packets of hot cross buns have been urgently recalled over concerns they may be contaminated with glass.

Food Standards Australia listed the recall over the nine-packs of Little Dough Co fruit hot cross buns on Friday.

The organisation said foreign matter, being glass, had been found inside the snacks which have been sold online and in Foodland Supermarkets across South Australia.

The recall affects packs that have the expiry date of March 3, 2025.

‘Food products containing foreign matter may cause illness/injury if consumed,’ the recall read.

Customers are urged to return the hot cross buns for a full refund.
