    A worker has been crushed to death following a horrific accident at Sydney Airport.

    The man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was crushed on his head and chest by heavy machinery while working in Mascot on Sunday.

    Paramedics rushed to the scene, however the man could not be revived.

    NSW Police are investigating the incident.
