    A woman’s body has been discovered in a Sydney unit.

    NSW Police attended the unit on Enid Ave in Granville, west Sydney, for a welfare check about 12.10pm on Wednesday.

    Officers discovered the body of a woman, believed to be in her 40s, inside the property.

    She has not yet been formally identified.

    Police have established an investigation into the circumstances around the woman’s death, which are believed to be suspicious.

    Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
