Ghanaian broadcast journalist Bridget Otoo has voiced her disapproval of a viral social media video showing two vehicles, reportedly belonging to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), engaged in a road race.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the broadcaster criticized both drivers for their reckless behaviour, accusing them of endangering the lives of people in the constituency.

“Honestly, both drivers are stupid. Putting people’s lives at risk over campaign,” Otoo wrote.

The video, as observed by GhanaWeb, depicts two pick-up trucks branded with the respective paraphernalia of the two political parties, racing each other while playing campaign songs.

Social media reports indicate that the incident took place in the Ledzokuku constituency.
