Hohoe United’s Safianu Usman emerged as one of the standout performers among the NASCO Man of the Match award winners in Week 12 of the Ghana Premier League, inspiring his side to a memorable 2-1 away victory over Bechem United on Sunday, November 30.

Usman’s commanding display helped the visitors secure all three points in what proved to be a significant result for Premier League debutants.

Like all NASCO Man of the Match winners, he took home a NASCO ultrasonic humidifier as well as a steam iron.

The week’s accolades began on Saturday when Vision FC’s Nana Kusi Asante claimed the honor despite his side’s narrow 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak. Asante’s individual brilliance shone through even in a losing effort, earning him a NASCO TV and trophy for his efforts.

Sunday’s action produced six NASCO Man of the Match winners, with goalkeepers and defenders featuring prominently in a day dominated by stalemates. Augustine Agyapong of Berekum Chelsea earned recognition and his rewards despite a 0-0 draw with FC Samartex, while Roland Leveh stood out in Swedru All Blacks’ goalless encounter with Young Apostles FC, taking home his NASCO TV set.

Heart of Lions’ Ishmael Addo also received the award and prizes following another 0-0 result against Karela United.

In one of the weekend’s most entertaining fixtures, Lord Amoah took home the NASCO television and trophy after Asante Kotoko and Medeama played out a thrilling 2-2 draw. Meanwhile, Samuel Attah Kumi was instrumental in Bibiani Gold Stars’ 1-0 victory over Aduana Stars, earning his NASCO rewards, and Moses Author helped Basake Holy Stars secure a crucial 1-0 win against Nations FC while collecting his TV set and trophy.

The week concluded on Monday with Emmanuel Boateng earning the NASCO Man of the Match award, complete with a television set and personalized trophy, as Eleven Wonders stunned Dream FC with an impressive 2-0 away victory.

These individual honors highlight the competitive nature of the Ghana Premier League, where match-winners are emerging from various teams across the table, each taking home valuable prizes courtesy of NASCO’s continued sponsorship of the league.
