The Accra High Court, presided over by Justice Forson Agyapong, has granted the second application from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), seeking to compel the Electoral Commission (EC) to re-collate and declare results in the Ablekuma North constituency.

The court also directed the Electoral Commission to collate the results from the 62 outstanding polling stations, add them to the already collated results, and declare the winner.

In the judge’s ruling, he reasoned that the EC had declared results from 219 polling stations out of 281, leaving the results from 62 polling stations outstanding.

The court is still hearing the two remaining cases for Okaikwei Central and Techiman South.
