According to the management, a team of local and international engineers is carrying out a full assessment of the facility. The walkway will remain closed until it is deemed completely safe for public use.

“As a precaution, the facility has been closed while a team of local and international engineers carries out a full structural assessment and guides the next steps. The walkway will remain closed until all safety requirements have been met and it is deemed fully secure for public use,” the statement added.

The Amedzofe Canopy Walkway, known for its scenic views and adventure tourism appeal, attracts visitors from across Ghana and beyond.
