    The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has announced that the Third Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Parliament will reconvene on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

    This was stated in a public notice issued by the Speaker on Monday, September 29, 2025.

    “The Third Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic shall commence on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 14:00 hrs at Parliament House, Accra,” the notice read.

    The announcement was issued in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament, which governs the procedures for recalling the House from recess.

    The reconvening marks the next legislative period for the Fourth Republic’s Ninth Parliament, during which government business and debates on national issues are expected to take center stage.
