    The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the reopening date for all Second Cycle Institutions.

    In a statement issued on August 20, 2025, GES said the reporting date for first-year students in Single Track and Transitional Schools has been fixed for October 18, 2025.

    “The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform Heads of all Second Cycle Institutions of the 2025/2026 Academic Calendar.

    “Reporting Date for First-Year Students (Single Track and Transitional Schools) is October,18, 2025”., it noted.

    It urged Regional Directors to follow the Academic Calendar.

    “By a copy of the letter, Regional Directors have been tasked to disseminate the attached Academic Calendar to all Heads of Second Cycle Institutions under their jurisdiction.

    “Ensure that Heads strictly adhere to the calendar to guarantee consistency and smooth implementation across all schools,” the GES urged.

    The Service further emphasized, “Provide the necessary monitoring and support to Heads of Schools in the execution of the calendar.”
