    Match week 10 of the Ghana Premier League kicked off at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra, where Accra Hearts of Oak, playing as hosts, picked up another three points in a narrow 1-0 win against Vision FC.

    Hearts of Oak’s 21-year-old Mawuli Wayo scored the only goal for the Phobians to grab the man-of-the-match award.

    Joseph Esso scored the decisive goal on Saturday, securing a win for Dreams FC against Medeama. Collins Boah was recognized as the standout player of the game.

    Then, moving to Sunday, Nations FC destroyed Nsoatreman 3-0 at home in Abrankese, with Faisal Charwetey hitting a brace. Faisal’s brace earned him the man-of-the-match award.

    Newly promoted Holy Stars Basake defeated Accra Lions 2-1 at home. Prince Tweneboah scored two goals and was given the man-of-the-match award for his dazzling performance.

    The match between Young Apostles and Bibiani Gold Stars ended in a 0-0 stalemate in Wenchi, and Abdul Ganiyu Muftaw of Young Apostles was honoured with the Man-of-the-Match title.

    In Dormaa, Aduana Stars beat Karela United 1-0 to amass all three maximum points. Gideon Boateng, who scored the only goal, was awarded the man-of-the-match award.

    Heart of Lions secured a narrow win over Berekum Chelsea in Kpando. Christian Agyenim Boateng scored the only goal and was awarded the man-of-the-match.

     

    In Tarkwa, Seidu Abubakar scored a 92nd-minute match-winner as Samatex beat Legon Cities 1-0. Ebenezer Acquah was awarded the Man-of-the-Match.

    To wrap up match week 10 of the GPL, Asante Kotoko fell short to Bechem United, losing 1-0 in the away fixture. Kofi Tompuo scored the only goal for Bechem, while Aziz Haruna Dari picked the man-of-the-match award.
