Lead pastor of Reign House Chapel International, Prophet Eric Boahen-Uche Lead pastor of Reign House Chapel International, Prophet Eric Boahen-Uche

Lead pastor of Reign House Chapel International, Prophet Eric Boahen-Uche, has stated that he and other prophets in the country would not be intimidated by any actions taken against them.

Speaking on United Showbiz on August 9, 2025, Prophet Boahen-Uche expressed frustration that prophetic warnings in Ghana are often disregarded until events unfold.

The pastor came into the limelight in the aftermath of a Ghana Armed Forces helicopter crash on August 6, which claimed the lives of high-ranking officials.

Following the development, videos from his 31st Night sermon on December 31, 2024, popped up on social media, in which saw him predicted an increase in plane crashes and urged prayers for safe travels.

Speaking to Empress Gifty, he bemoaned the disrespect he and other prophets face, especially from politicians and celebrities.

“They don’t give respect to the prophets, they don’t listen to any of us, nor take us seriously. But everyone has their calling. So these politicians and celebrities should stop with the disrespect,” he said.

Addressing calls by the government for religious leaders to submit sensitive prophecies that concern the country and its top officials for review before making them public, Prophet Boahen-Uche declared that he and other prophets would not be intimidated.

“Some also think that prophecies are always targeted at celebrities and prominent people. But even ordinary people get prophecies.

“We say what God has shown us. If it affects the public, we would say it publicly; if it affects an individual, we would say it privately. We would not allow anybody to intimidate us,” he said.

He also cautioned Members of Parliament ahead of by-elections, urging them to remain prayerful, asserting, “Many MPs are in danger. It’s not gone. In my last sermon, I warned about the upcoming by-elections and asked people, especially the MPs, to be prayerful.”
