Ghana coach Otto Addo has named his starting XI for the Black Stars‘ crucial World Cup qualifier against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, 2025.

The lineup features a mix of experience and young talent, with Hearts of Oak’s goalkeeper Benjamin Asare earning his debut for the national team.

Asare gets the nod between the posts ahead of Lawrence Ati Zigi and Joseph Wollacott. The defense will be marshaled by Kingsley Schindler, Salisu Mohammed, Alexander Djiku, and Gideon Mensah.

In midfield, Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, and captain Jordan Ayew will aim to control the game and create chances.

Up front, Ernest Nuamah will lead the attack alongside Antoine Semenyo and Iñaki Williams.

With a strong squad set for action, all eyes will be on Asare as he makes his first competitive appearance for the Black Stars.
