Hearts of Oak defender Samuel Amofa believes the team now has a winning mentality ahead of their game against Bibiani GoldStars at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The Phobians will face the Ghana Premier League leaders in a Week Eight clash on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Hearts of Oak have won two games this season, suffered two losses, and drawn two. Aboubakar Ouattara’s team is unbeaten in their last five games.

“One thing I love about the fans is that, in a moment when I hear the Hearts of Oak song, ‘Be quiet and don’t be silly, we are the famous Hearts of Oak,’ then you see something stirring in your head as a player and you want to give it your all,” Amofa told the club’s media team.

“I will say they should come in their numbers and cheer us on against the league leaders. We have the winning mentality now.”

Hearts of Oak are ninth on the league table with nine points from seven matches, having recorded two wins, two losses, and three draws.
