Accra Hearts of Oak took to social media to mock rivals Asante Kotoko after the Porcupine’s elimination from the ongoing MTN FA Cup competition at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The second record holders of the FA Cup competition suffered a “Round of 16” elimination on Sunday, February 8, 2026, after a home defeat to Dormaa-based Aduana Football Club.

After a goalless 90 minutes at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the Porcupine Warriors were eliminated after converting only two penalties successfully against Aduana’s four.

Reacting to the game, Accra Hearts of Oak took to social media to mock Asante Kotoko and their supporters in a post sighted by GhanaWeb Sports on Monday, February 9, 2026.

The Phobians posted a video of a crying Asante Kotoko supporter with the caption “No words…..Next weekend in mind.”

Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak were eliminated from the MTN FA Cup at the Round of 64 by Division Two League side True Life FC on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
