The Ghana Premier League match week 26 fixture between Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC will now be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

This follows a security briefing with key stakeholders on Friday, April 4, 2025.

Earlier in the week, the National Sports Authority (NSA) had withheld clearance for Hearts of Oak to use the stadium.

This led to the club being denied access for their match week 21 fixture, which was instead played at the Tuba Astro Turf against Nations FC, with the Phobians losing 1-0.

With the security assessment now completed and clearance granted, Hearts of Oak will return to their traditional home ground. They will face Medeama SC in a crucial match as they seek a first win in five games.

The match is important for both teams as they continue their push for a strong finish in the league.

Fans of Hearts of Oak will be excited to see their team back at the Accra Sports Stadium for the first time in over six months.
