Hearts of Oak will have the service of striker Hamza Issah for the crunchy second Super-Clash of the 2025/26 season as they gear up to take on their rivals Asante Kotoko later today, February 15, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Many believed the 23-year-old wasn’t going to feature in the country’s version of the ‘El Classico’ due to issues surrounding his future at the club that popped up in the indigenous media earlier this week.
Hamza, was reported to have been declared a free agent by FIFA and that he is at liberty to join any club of his choice henceforth.
South African Premiership fold Siwelele FC also had their letter inviting the player for a thirty (30) trial with them appeared on social media and was somehow confirming the initial speculations.
However, exclusive reports has it that, Hamza Issah, who has notched four goals this season, will be available for Hearts of Oak against Kotoko and has even made coach Didi Dramani’s match-day squad list for the top-liner coming up.
The ‘Phobians’ are highly motivated heading into the game and are very desperate to halt their three-year winless run against their eternal rivals in the league with their last win against them coming in March 2023.
