Winless Dreams FC yesterday settled for a goalless draw game with visiting Accra Hearts of Oak in their match day seven Ghana Premier League fixture played at the Tuba Astro Turf.

The draw, their fourth in seven games, stretches their winless run in the competition and currently languish at the 17th spot on the log with four points.

But Head Coach, Karim Zito, insists it was too early to press the panic bottom, expressing confidence in the team’s ability to be at their best.

“There is no cause for any alarm. We know where we are coming from. It may be getting late but Dreams FC will start winning and challenge for top honours. It is possible,” he said in a post-match interview.

Dreams FC came into the game having previously won one and drawn three of their last four home encounters with Heart since the 2020-21 season, and needed the results badly to end their winless streak.

The Phobians, came into the game on the back of an away victory over debutant, Young Apostles, last week and were in high spirits to get their third win of the campaign.

The ‘Still Believe’ boys began the game on a steady note, waiting to hit the visitors on the break with former Hearts striker, Joseph Esso, leading the side.

Twice in the 16th and 29th minutes, he dribbled past two defenders and was brought down behind the box but they wasted those set pieces.

The Hearts attack was a bit quiet throughout the half but came alive in the second, piling pressure on the host for the opener.

The best chance of the game fell to Kwabena Boateng 20 minutes from the end, however, with only goalkeeper Gidios Aseako at his mercy, Boateng headed wide a cross from Saani Mohammed.

Hearts striker, Hamza, who was quiet all afternoon, had a glorious opportunity to win the day for Hearts but his strike from behind the box missed the target.

The result leaves Hearts in 10th position on the log with nine points.
