Love Ogah, daughter of Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, has shared a harrowing account of how her father miraculously escaped an assassination attempt, an experience she described as unforgettable.

Her revelation, which made headlines on April 16, 2025, was shared during a sermon in which she recounted the terrifying events from her childhood.

According to Love, a group of armed men broke into their home one night with a clear mission: to assassinate her father.

She explained that the men demanded to know Bishop Oyedepo’s whereabouts, yet, strangely, he was right there in the house, but they couldn’t see him.

“They searched the house for hours. We had to hide behind the door. They even shot at it, and the bullet struck my upper gum.”

Love recalled the fear and confusion in that moment, especially as her aunt broke down in tears, wondering what would have happened if the attackers had discovered the Living Faith Church founder.

She added that after the assailants eventually left, her father came out of his room and calmly said he had been watching them the entire time, but they never saw him.

Concluding her testimony, Love urged the congregation to develop a personal relationship with God, emphasising the power of divine protection.

Her story has since gone viral on social media, sparking intense discussions and debates among netizens about the possibility of supernatural intervention.
