Everton manager, David Moyes has confirmed that the club is looking at signing Ghana forward Ernest Nuamah.

According to him, the Black Stars forward is one of several players the English Premier League side is interested in recruiting in the January transfer window.

David Moyes is hoping that Everton can seal a deal to secure the services of Nuamah to strengthen his squad.

“He’s a player that I know we’ve been looking at, but I couldn’t say for sure that it’s done or even underway, unless there’s something happening that I’m unaware of.

“We’re considering several players, and Ernest Nuamah is one of them. Hopefully, we can make some signings before the window closes,” David Moyes told journalists on Friday during his pre-match press conference ahead of Everton’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

As reported by GHANAsoccernet.com this week, Olympique Lyon and Everton have agreed on a fee for the transfer of Ernest Nuamah.

It is understood that the deal could be agreed early next week.
