Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, popularly called Bullgod, who happens to be the former manager of renowned Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale, has openly criticized Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy’s former manager, for working with Shatta Wale on Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street Concert in Jamaica.

Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime, Bullgod described Blakk Cedi’s public acknowledgment of his role in the project as a “huge stab in the back” to Stonebwoy.

Bullgod questioned the motive behind Blakk Cedi’s post and expressed disappointment at what he perceived as disloyalty.

“We’ve met on different platforms, and as event people, we usually want to support our Ghanaian artistes. That’s how I initially saw the whole thing,” Bullgod said.

“But when I saw his post, saying he was part of Shatta’s team, it felt off. For me, it was a huge stab in the back for Stonebwoy. I don’t know how Stone will feel, but I know he won’t be happy about this.”

Despite his dismay, he acknowledged Shatta Wale’s success with the event, describing it as a fulfillment of a long-held dream.

“I’m happy for Shatta. This is historic. Whether we’re with him or not, it’s a dream we started, and it’s amazing to see it come to life,” he said.

This controversy stems from a social media post by Blakk Cedi, in which he expressed admiration and gratitude for Shatta Wale’s professionalism and trust.

Blakk Cedi, who was part of Shatta Wale’s team during the concert, described the opportunity as monumental, thanking Shatta for his respect and collaboration.

“Big respect to Shatta Wale for the trust, respect, and love shown throughout our collaboration. It was an honor to be part of such a massive event,” Blakk Cedi wrote.

The post sparked mixed reactions online, with some praising the collaboration and others accusing Blakk Cedi of betraying Stonebwoy, given the longstanding rivalry between the two artists.
