Ghanaian midfielder Hans Nunoo Sarpei was on target as SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz secured a 2–1 away victory over Bahlinger SC in the Regionalliga Southwest.

Sarpei doubled his side’s advantage in the 32nd minute after Roko Ivankovic had given the visitors an early lead inside seven minutes. The goal handed Barockstadt a comfortable 2–0 cushion at half-time following a dominant first-half display.

Bahlinger responded strongly after the break and reduced the deficit in the 87th minute through Hasan Pepic, setting up a tense finish. However, Barockstadt held firm to claim all three points and strengthen their position in Germany’s fourth-tier league.

The strike marks another positive moment for the 26-year-old Ghanaian, who recently signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2028. The new deal reflects the club’s confidence in his growing influence in midfield.

Sarpei has now made 20 competitive appearances for Barockstadt this season, playing a key role in their steady climb up the table as they chase improved league standing.

Barockstadt will look to build on their momentum when they travel to face 1. FSV Mainz 05 II on March 7 in another crucial league encounter.
