Ghanaian midfielder Hans Nunoo Sarpei delivered a decisive performance as SG Barockstadt Fulda Lehnerz earned a hard-fought 2-1 away win over Bahlinger SC in the Regionalliga Southwest.
Sarpei struck in the 32nd minute to make it 2-0, adding to Roko Ivankovic’s early opener inside seven minutes and giving the visitors a commanding half-time lead.
Barockstadt controlled large spells of the first half, and Sarpei’s goal gave them crucial breathing space before the break.
After the interval, Bahlinger pushed back, eventually pulling one back through Hasan Pepic in the 87th minute to set up a nervous finale, but SG Barockstadt held firm to see out the victory.
The goal caps an important period for Sarpei, who recently extended his contract with SG Barockstadt until 2028, underlining the club’s faith in his influence in midfield.
So far, he has made 20 competitive appearances in the SG Barockstadt jersey, steadily becoming a key figure in their team.
