The agency representing Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Hamza Issah has initiated steps to terminate his contract with the club over non-payment of salaries.

In a statement released by Prosport International on December 8, 2025, it was disclosed that Issah had not received his salary for three months, which has been a major setback.

It was revealed that the months owed to the player range from September to November 2025, with no efforts made to settle the debt.

“We act on behalf of the above-mentioned professional footballer [Hamza Issah]. Our client has advised us that he has not received his contractually agreed monthly salary for a continuous period of three (3) months—September, October, and November 2025. In terms of his employment contract with the Club, he is entitled to a monthly gross salary of GH¢5,000.

“The Club’s persistent failure to honour its financial obligations constitutes a continued and material breach of the employment agreement,” the statement read.

The agency further stated that owing a player more than two months’ salary contradicts the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) regulations; hence, they demand termination of the contract.

They urged the club to release all the relevant documents to finalise the termination.

“In accordance with the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP), failure to pay a player’s salary for more than two consecutive months is considered just cause for termination. Our client hereby accepts this repudiation, and the contract of employment is deemed terminated with immediate effect.

“We accordingly request that the player’s clearance certificate and all related documentation be issued without delay, in line with the obligations imposed under the FIFA RSTP,” the statement added.
