A recent disturbing and heartbreaking video of Ghanaian musician Okomfour Kwadee surfaced online and instantly it sparkiled concern among fans and industry players about his well-being.

In response to various reactions online, popular radio presenter Ohemaa Woyeje, who hosts Angel FM’s mid-morning show, announced her plans to set up a fund with a seed money of GHC10,000 to get the musician into a rehabilitation home.

However, according to Ohemaa Woyeje, her well-intentioned efforts have hit a roadblock because Kwadee’s manager, Hammer Nti, who also works with Pure FM in Kumasi has informer her that he does not need anyone’s help to get the musician back on his feet.

Ohemaa Woyeje went on to reveal in the interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut Show that she has decided to withdraw her support, including the GHC10,000 she had pledged.

According to Ohemaa Woyeje, the situation has been a long-standing issue between Kwadee’s mother and his manager.

She disclosed that Hammer Nti is determined to see Kwadee return to music as soon as he recovers, a decision that his mother strongly opposes.

Ohemaa added that Kwadee’s mother reportedly believes that his involvement in music is a major trigger for his relapses, and she does not want him to go back to his career immediately after treatment.

The award-winning DJ in her closing remakrs emphasized that those who were willing to support Kwadee through her initiative should reconsider, as she does not want any trouble with his management.
