Ghanaian actor Nana Tornado has entered the fray in the ongoing dispute between broadcast journalist Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah and Prophet Opambour.

The conflict began when Afrifa-Mensah criticised Prophet Opambour for allegedly threatening Ghanaians with curses. In retaliation, Opambour was seen in a viral video angrily cursing Afrifa-Mensah.

In a video shared on social media, Nana Tornado condemned both parties for their actions.

Addressing Prophet Opambour, he warned the clergyman to behave and shun the habit of cursing anyone who criticises him.

“I don’t know if it’s foolishness or not, but anytime someone says anything about you, you rush to curse them. Opambour, you can’t scare anybody.

“You are an elder; you have to grow up. You don’t want anybody to talk about you, but you want to talk about people. Who does that? You want to curse everybody who talks about you,” he said.

Turning his attention to Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah, Nana Tornado remarked that the broadcaster behaves arrogantly and that his reaction to his boss, Dr Kweku Oteng’s attempts at mediating the feud was disrespectful.

“I saw the video of Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah blasting Opambour. Let me tell you something. You are too arrogant. Humble yourself. You are not anybody important.

“Even the way you said you never sent your boss, Dr Kweku Oteng, to beg Opambour on your behalf is very disrespectful. When you say something like that, it means you don’t respect the man. You like acting like you are tough, but it’s just stupidity. You are too known,” he said.
