The Positive Transparency and Accountability Movement-Ghana (PTAAM-GH), an anti-corruption advocacy group, has extended congratulations to President-elect John Dramani Mahama on his historic election victory.

In a letter signed by Ebenezer K. Havor, President of PTAAM-GH and an anti-corruption campaigner, the organization praised Mahama’s leadership, resilience, and the trust the Ghanaian people have placed in him once again.

“Your victory is a testament to your tireless efforts, visionary leadership, and the trust that the people of Ghana have placed in you,” the letter stated.

PTAAM-GH expressed optimism about the positive impact Mahama’s presidency will bring to Ghana. The organization highlighted the pressing need for rebuilding the country’s economy and ensuring accountability for past governance failures.

“Your commitment to reset and rebuild all aspects of the economy must be commended. We are confident that your administration will bring the transformative change that Ghanaians have been eagerly waiting for,” Havor remarked.

The movement further called for swift action against corrupt officials from previous administrations, emphasizing the importance of justice and accountability in strengthening the nation’s democratic fabric.
